Smilin' Bob (James Robert Lewis) has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We hope to beat it back enough that he can get on his feet and BACK on stage where he Belongs. It's bad, but it could be worse. It is only in his liver, lungs and lymph nodes. Nowhere else.
Smilin' Bob is an Arkansas Music Legend. He can play anything in any key on any stringed instrument in any tuning by ear. He is a history buff. When we drive through the country he'll point to certain hills or valleys and tell about the battles or migrations that happened there. He's better than Google for just about anything. He is a Vietnam vet, former railroad man, karate instructor...so many other professions...cat person...he lived Lifetimes before he was even 18.
I will be blogging some stories about Bob on facebook that I will link here.
He has given so much. I see how kind he is to everyone he meets. He stands for what he thinks is right and for those who can't defend themselves. When he sees wrong he speaks out no matter the cost. He is a fighter and if anyone can do this, it's Bob.
17 years ago he was given 0% chance to live after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. A few fundraisers, many generous people and one experimental surgery later...the brain tumor was gone.
Let's come Together Right Now.
Bob, we've got you on this one.
A Gofundme has been set up to assist Bob. You can find it here.
